EATRIS-CONNECT accelerates the digital readiness of EATRIS and supports personalised medicine through cross-border alignment in the adoption and application of digital tools. It connects research infrastructures across sectors and explores how collaboration can unlock digital innovation, with a particular focus on AI-enabled technologies.
The 22-partner consortium brings together all 14 national EATRIS nodes and academic representatives of prospective member countries. Sofia University represents Bulgaria, connecting national expertise and strategic priorities with the wider European programme and helping strengthen digital capacity across the infrastructure.

EATRIS Digital Hub
One of the project’s principal outputs is the EATRIS Digital Hub, a web-based, generative AI-powered conversational platform that helps translational researchers access curated self-service resources and best practices for integrating AI into clinical workflows.

HAPLO-iPS
A coordinated framework for clinically relevant hiPSC resources
HAPLO-iPS brings together European specialists to develop a framework for generating human induced pluripotent stem cells that are homozygous for frequent HLA haplotypes and may therefore be compatible with a substantial proportion of the population.
The Action connects expertise across the full pathway from source-material selection and hiPSC production to quality control, biobanking, registration, safety, regulation, ethics, training and clinical application.
